Ladies, you are invited to the New York City Fancy Women Bike Ride (NYCFWBR) on September 17, 2023. It’s our 3nd annual event part of the global Fancy Women Bike Ride (FWBR) movement, an annual cycling event held on World Car Free Day. FWBR is organized exclusively for women by women in more than 200 cities around the world.

WHEN: September 17, 2023
TIME: Wheels up at 10am
WHERE: Meet at Father Duffy Square (Time Square by the Red Steps)
ROUTE: Ride to Washington Square Park via Broadway and 5th Ave

DRESS CODE AND OTHER GUIDELINES:
– Dress in a fancy, fierce, fabulous, and/or loud (whatever makes you feel confident, beautiful, strong and comfortable!)
– Decorate your bike with flowers, balloons, glitter… and take lots of pictures
– Every women is welcome… in fact, invite your friends, mothers, aunties, sisters.
– This is open to avid cyclists as well as rookies. Support each other along the way.
– No registration required but we highly recommend you let us know if you are attending on our FB page.
– Men are welcome to join as long as they ride with us not ahead of us. And if they choose to ride, please dress up as well.
– Children are welcome as long as they are capable of riding the bike by themselves under the watchful eye of their parents.
– We will be riding along the road and must obey traffic laws. In the event of road block/inaccessible bike lane, we’ll move to take over a car lane as a group. It is very important to follow the road signals and obey the law.
– And most of all don’t forget to smile and enjoy the ride. Be prepared for a magical morning
