Sema Gur and Pinar Pinzuti received The 2022 Special Award World Bicycle Day of the United Nations for their leadership and excellence in promoting cycling for all.
World Bicycle Day was established in 2018 by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) by acclamation of all UN state members and adoption of the United Nations General Assembly Resolution, allowing the world to celebrate this humble yet instrumental, durable yet customizable, and simple yet flexible invention.
